Every year, during the holiday season, Genest & Marinacci, Real Estate Brokers, take a moment to give back. This year, we decided to create an opportunity and involve children. Together, we will share goods, but also memories and good times.
We, Monica Genest and Victoria Marinacci, real estate brokers at Genest & Marinacci/Sotheby’s International Realty, wish to take every opportunity we get to give back to our community, especially during the holiday season. That is why we chose to involve elementary school children in our initiative. We selected two elementary schools located within the greater Montreal area, and involve their students in a group activity that would allow them to give a little to less fortunate children.
We believe that teaching generosity and consideration to young children is the key to a better future. That is why we asked them to select toys and games they are no longer using. On December 20th, we will go to both schools and help gift wrap our little friend’s donations. We also engaged ourselves in the delivery of the Christmas gifts to La Maison du Partage d’Youville, an organization dedicated to the support of Pointe Saint-Charles’ low-income families. La Maison du Partage d’Youville offers help, support, educational activities, a location where lonely people and low-income families can feel implicated and considered. They offer those services to the residents of Pointe Saint-Charles, Saint-Henri and Petite-Bourgogne districts in Montreal.
